In 2006 BFS left the Bard to produce one of the favorite plays of the last 100 years, “Cyrano de Bergerac” by Edmond Rostand. The tragic-comedic story of the musketeer with the over-large nose came to life on a magical set under our equally magical lights. Cyrano’s unrequited love for the beautiful Roxane moved audiences at the Peacock Pavilion and on the Guilford Green. In both venues audiences in excess of 1000 people laughed and cried as this tale unfolded. |
